Interesting Facts About Crabs.

I do not wish to spoil the story about The Runaway Schoolhouse, but the schoolhouse befriends a crab family led by Lancelot. During his adventure, Clearie, the schoolhouse, discovers that these scuttling creatures are not what they appear to be.

However, we think that Crabs are pretty amazing creatures. Here are five facts about them.
1.
They live in the earth’s oceans, freshwater, and land.
2.
Crabs have ten legs. This includes their claws. Eight legs and two claws or pincers.
3.
Like humans, crabs can walk forward and backwards, though most crabs walk sideways. They can also swim.
4.
Crabs talk to each other by drumming or waving their pincers (claws).
5.
When a large group of them are seen together, they are called a cast.
