What’s a moment when you realized you were officially an adult?
The moment when I realised I was officially an adult is unforgettable. I was eighteen and was on my way to my first official job as a reception/book keeper in a hotel in Southern Ireland. I proudly said goodbye to my mum, hopped on the train with one travel bag in hand and sank into a seat. I was on my own; no mobile phones back in 1979.
